WHO GAVE THE MONKEY THE DRINKING CUP?

Who gave the monkey the drinking cup? This is a question I will make every concerted effort to answer without any form of bias.

I will clinically chronicle the answer to this poser with the central aim of correcting some misleading narratives that are been hawked by some desperate charlatans whose trade is to distort the truth.

Since 21st of October, many political pundits and other wannabes masquerading as intelligentsias have taken it upon themselves to lampoon IPOB and its charismatic leader, Nnamdi Kanu for making it bold to those who care to know that Biafrans will massively boycott the 2019 general elections.

Some of these Weaver birds that are crying more than the bereaved anchored their argument on the premise that boycotting the 2019 general elections will only ensure the return of the monster called Buhari.

While others are of the opinion that now Atiku Abubakar has chosen someone from the East, there is need for every Igbo person to support Atiku ticket.

One striking fact about all these bandwagons pushing to sell these cheap argument is that they lack the mind of their own. They are nothing but sheepish turncoats.

I see no reason for any individual no matter how highly placed the person could be to raise any form of eyebrow against the decision of IPOB.

Those people who have been shouting Buhari must go as at two years ago were the same parrots shouting sai baba.

To show you how twisted the brain of these household rats have become, they were among the same unconscientious individuals that hailed the tyrant when he arrested Nnamdi Kanu, killed and incarcerated thousands of IPOB members.

They saw nothing bad in Buhari's draconian approach in addressing the Biafra question. To them, we are trouble makers that need to be extinguished by every means possible.

Starting from 2014, the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra vigorously campaigned and advised Biafrans and other sane Nigerians to boycott the general elections of 2015.

Many who saw reasons with him embraced his message without any iota of doubt while others who claim to know too much called it a bluff. Nnamdi Kanu has never been in the front burner of any matter that borders on election after he publicly denounced being addressed as a Nigerian.

The massive boycott of the 2015 general elections compelled the monster in aso villa to make one of the most unmathematical statement in the history of world politics.

Buhari said, in all honesty, the constituencies that gave him 97% votes will not be treated equally with others that gave him 5% votes. Though, because of the massive rigging that engulfed the 2015 presidential election, many did not take cognizance of the impact of the boycott.

I wonder why Nigerians doesn't want to find a cure to this perennial disease of forgetting things in a hurry.

We have not forgotten how Ndi Igbo became an object of caricature after 2015 election. Even a notable Yoruba scholar named Wole Soyinka accused Ndi Igbo of voting according to their stomach.

We were seen as a bad blood that never wanted the progress of the shared criminality called Nigeria. And this was further replicated when Buhari constituted his cabinet.

We were and presently left out of the scheme of things in Nigeria's political and economic equation.

Those charlatans who have taken it upon themselves to attack IPOB from all corners were the same junkies that gave the monkey in aso rock the drinking cup.

The Yoruba's and the middle beltans were in the fore front.

Some were ready to decimate and kill anybody that stood on the way of their political god. Ndi Igbo were forced to accept the fate the present government designed for them.

Many of our businesses where notoriously attacked through harsh economic policies. Many hard working Biafrans became economically crippled.

It is tantamount to IBERIBERISM that people who collectively gave the monkey in aso rock the drinking cup is now confused and doesn't no how to recover it.

Those sai baba's from the North East, North West, North Central, Western axis and infinitesimal disgruntled fellows from the Eastern region should put on their thinking cup and decide how to rescue themselves from their hopeless situation.

Biafrans were not among the people that gave the monkey the drinking cup and should be left alone. We were proscribed and millions congratulated the tyrant! We were called touts and jobless youths but they forgot that their irresponsible actions incubated and nurtured our agitation.

After all, election is not the only political mechanism that can be adopted in recovering the drinking cup from the old monkey.

Buhari has committed several impeachable offense that should have triggered the legislature to remove him and what are they waiting for?

The wacky lawmakers are more engrossed in their jumbo salary, Wardrobe allowance, constituency allowance and padding of budget for their selfish gain.

Instead of carrying out their constitutional obligations they prefer to run around like mad dogs without tail.

Since the return of democracy in 1999, no election in Nigeria has ever reflected the wishes and aspirations of the masses.

Is all about the recycling of selfish rogues who come to perpetuate misery. And the constitution has been a strong signature that has aided these leaders in their reckless actions.

Look at what is happening in Lagos State where a man solely decide the fate of millions and nobody sees nothing wrong in it. The people can never decide their political fate.

Biafrans are simply sick and tired of the whole situation. We can't be pretending that all is well when unfortunately everything is speedily going down the drain.

Those people who have been begging us to give Atiku Abubakar a chance should get behind us. We have decided to do the needful by boycotting the 2019 general elections.

If Nigerians are sensible, they should join IPOB in doing what is right. Massive boycott of the election is one of the safest way of recovering the drinking cup from the monkey in aso villa.

Anything that is short of that will be very suicidal. The monster will chew any opposition that will challenge him with the military force after INEC might have rigged the election in his favour. Mark my words!

I want to encourage Biafrans all over the globe to remain resilient. Though the journey may seems very weary and dreary but in it Biafra will be restored and we all shall rejoice as victors.

God bless Biafra!
